Check it out

The author of this blog posted in my comments so I went to check out her site.
I'm not quite sure how to express what I feel after visiting her site. Death is a subject we all like to avoid, but let's face it, it's going to happen to us all, unless the rules change.

Wow. Thanks for the link to my site. I kind of expect people to be a little uncomfortable with the subject, though I hope my posts improve people's comfort and get them thinking and appreciating life. Best wishes and thanks again!

I dunno. Avoiding the topic of death is silly, imo. Of course it's scary and most of us don't want to deal with it, but we all will have to. When I married, my Mom (now 68) made a living will, of which I have a copy. I need to do the same thing, just in case something untoward happens and my mother or husband is incapacitated and can't make any decisions on my behalf. I believe that hospice is a very good thing, and that in some circumstances, so is assisted suicide. Some people are incapable of deciding that life is worth living despite the pain, terror, and agony of some illnesses - and quite frankly, I don't blame them. Unfortunately we can't tell what we'd do in that same situtation unless we were in it, as most of us infertiles already know...

Avoiding it, silly. Wallowing in it, also silly.

But then, I wallow in infertility. :)

I have been reading her blog for quite a while though I don't always comment. My mother is a nurse and Mia explains so many things to me that my mother and I never see to get around to discussing. Her compassion for her patients always gives me comfort.

Thanks for linking her!
